Miguel Vérité é um cineasta e designer gráfico especializado em cinema e design narrativo. Os seus trabalhos procuram integrar arquivos históricos na cultura contemporânea, com uma forte componente histórico-cultural, para criar novas leituras visuais.
Miguel Vérité é licenciado em Marketing e Publicidade. Além disso, estudou documentário e design gráfico na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade do Porto e design de animação na Escola Superior de Arte e Design de Matosinhos.
Em 2026, foi finalista no Festival Internazionale Nebrodi Cinema Doc de Itália com o documentário ‘Armados até aos Dentes’.
Recebeu uma bolsa da FEST – Associação Cultural para frequentar um workshop de edição para cinema e televisão com Mick Audsley na Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário de Lisboa.
No seu mais recente documentário, Armados até aos Dentes, sobre a NATO, entrevistou um ex-repórter da guerra entre Israel e o Hezbollah, em 2006, e jornalista de investigação, com a colaboração da Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade do Porto.

Miguel Vérité is a filmmaker and graphic designer specialising in cinema and narrative design. His work seeks to integrate historical archives into contemporary culture, with a strong historical and cultural dimension, in order to create new visual interpretations.
Miguel Vérité holds a degree in Marketing and Advertising. He also studied documentary filmmaking and graphic design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto, and animation design at the Matosinhos School of Art and Design.
In 2026, he was a finalist at the Nebrodi Cinema Doc International Festival in Italy with the documentary ‘Armed to the Teeth’.
He was awarded a scholarship by FEST – Cultural Association to attend a film and television editing workshop with Mick Audsley at Lusófona University – Lisbon University Centre.
In his latest documentary, Armed to the Teeth, about NATO, he interviewed a former reporter who covered the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah, and an investigative journalist, in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto.
